Stainless Vs. Aluminum?

Stainless Vs. Aluminum?
I have an aluminum exhaust system, but i have seen stainless ones, what is the difference. Both will not rust...correct? Is there something with the way they diminish the heat?

And i agree with GuyOutWest, salt is very corrosive for the aluminum.

Stainless Vs. Aluminum?
Best thing is to get a high quality Alum. exhaust , then have it ceramic coated...Holds in the heat - more performance , and wont rust..........
