i tried searching and looked thru catalogs, Did anyone
ever make tube steps or nerf bars for a 97 F-350 Crewcab PSD

Is there other years that will fit like the newer body style?

Keep searching. Might have to call rather than going through catalogs. Not cost effective to list every model they have.

For example
Chrome $377 Black $225 (Westin)
or
Lots here
I suggest just searching for nerf bars through google and you will get loads of hits.

I have a 97 crew cab too and I've yet to find a nerf bar that fits the 2 wheel drive model. They are all for 4 wheel drive.

Mj is that your truck? Why does it look like the rear wheel doesn't line up with the well? What kind of lift does it have?

Shartman, is there a difference between the bars for a 2x4 and a 4x4, the frames are identical, it shouldn't really be a prob.

DeeZee, Smittybuilt, Westin, Go Industries. I didn't think it mattered 2 or 4 wheel drive since they bolt to the frame.

The Westin bars for a 4x4 have their front connection where the torsion bar connects on a 2x4. there is no way to mount it. I found this out the hard way. The salesman assured me they would fit because "the frames are identical". I've yet to find one for a 97 2x4.

Yes it is mine, I noticed in the picture the wheel looks forward in the well but I think it is just the angle of the picture. Looks fine in person. No brand name lift, just a D60 conversion with new springs up front and POS 6" blocks in the rear. Getting a reverse shackle for the rear and an add-a-leaf to get rid of blocks, too much axle wrap.
