a/c not engaging

a/c not engaging

97 F250LD....4.6.....with 97k.....clicked on the a/c today to see how it was working.....nothing happened....the blower works along with heat, but the a/c compressor not kicking on....any thoughts??

Charge low? I believe there is a low pressure cut out that will prevent the compressor from turning on if the charge is low.

Tap on your low side pressure switch, its probably just stuck. It will usually work for a while after that.
