Hey Red, May need to look at Ocala or something in that area so that the panhandle group can get to it in one day. LOL I will get a list of state parks or find the web site for the parks and e-mail them to you.

Ocala's good, just a bit farther for me. We should try to go where there is the most concentration of members.

What's the best way to find where everybody is at? How do we get them to come?

It's going to be tough for me to get away anytime real soon, as I just bought a new house, and will be moving, finding furniture, painting, cleaning, etc., etc., etc.

Red,

Maybe we should just have at your new place. That way we could all help!

All,
It looks like we are spread about and florida is a big state. Orlando is in the middle. I'm not sure about what's in orlando.
Ocala is 1/2 hour north. It has some beautiful parks.
Gainesville is 1 hour and 20 minutes north of Orlando.
It's about 4-1/2 hours form West Palm Beach. Is that too far?
I could host but I need to know how many? Are we talking 10, 50,...100? Let's try and get a rough number, and I'll tell you what I can handle. Fifty is about all I could handle, honestly.
What do you think?

Red, The roster has 123 people on it and thats not all the poeple on the site that are in FL. But a third may show up +/- some. But the roster may show were most are at map wize. Wiz may have better insite on that.

All,
I do not have the ability to reach the Florida members.
Somebody, set a date, arbitrarly.
Send out an invite without identifying a location.
Give seven days for a reply.
See what the interest is.
Set the location based on the majority of the reply and the amount of replies.
What do you think?

Sounds like that will work. But before sending an invite, what will we do? Should it be a BBQ, Show & Shine, ??, ?. What?

All,
Here's what I'm imagining?
1. Casual BBQ/pinic.
2. Serious discussion about 73-79s.
3. Possible truck show with judging?
4. Camping for those interested in making it a weekend thing.
5. Ice cold keg!
6. Possibly a band?
Did I miss anything?

Basically, anytime that we can get enough people together.

How can we get a hold of enough people?
