Hello all, I just joined FTE and joined the Missouri and Kansas Chapters. I live in Pleasant Hill, just south and east of KC. I work in Overland Park KS. I traded my '03 F250 Crew 4x4, 7.3L for a 2005 F150 SCAB FX4. Looks like there are quite a few of you from this area. Look forward to meeting some of you.
Welcome to the chapter, but I have one thing to say, we have all these members willing to come here and state this, but where are all of you when it comes time to keep the chapter open? we don't currently have a leader, the forum was locked for that reason, we have a small group that is fighting to keep it going, but most of the people that have posted here haven't been supporting the chapter... What gives? If you want this chapter to remain, make it look like it, and come be part of it and help select a new leader!
Sorry...as I stated, I am new to FTE, as well as "forums" in general. I feel that I have not been on this forum long enough to make a vote or nomination. Is there something else that I can do to show my support for the "Show me" forum?
You're ok, I wasn't directly referring to you, but just be active helps.. but there have been many others that have posted in here, and totally ignoring the rest of the forum, especially the elect a leader forum. I don't personally know many of the current regulars, as there isn't much activity in here any more, so it is almost as tough a choice for me as well, but SOMEONE has to or, it will be shut down again. Just show support, if nothing more... Right now, it appears the St Louis area is where the current meet is going to be , but maybe you guys over to KC can get one together too, and discuss it when you meet in person. Then you may feel more comfortable with making a choice. We just need someone to take the position, all that is necessary is to try to get some activity going, like local meets, and a state meet, the is the major function of a leader. It really isn't a big job, and there is nothing that says another member can't help or even do some of the same job.
704xFord - you oughta meet up with Hoxiii (Justin) he's goin to school in Rolla too, probably seen him around...
Hey Maxx - ever heard of Buchanan's Mudfest? Twice a year they open up a 100 acre field and let everyone play in it. Robertsville, about 15 minutes south of Pacific, 20 from Eureka. Kinda like a one-day Lesterville. You guys DO remember Lesterville, don't you?...
I'm bringing this old thread back to life so some of the new guy's can see if there is anyone in there area in the Mo chapter. There are alot of guy's that posted in this thread and have not been around in awhile has anyone seen them on other forums on FTE or heard from them.
Oh yeah I'll do it again too. Imperial Mo. south of St. Louis
Not in Mo, but pretty close. I live in Mountain Home, AR (20 miles from the line) I am 100 miles south east of springfield, although I get up there quite a bit.
Hmmm...well its not where I thought it was. LOL. Its fairly far west in the state. I would guess 2- 3 hours (give or take???). I am almost dead center just below the line.
im from Blackwater, MO which is about 10 minutes from Boonville or 30 minutes from Columbia Anything i can do to help someone lemme know i know where there are a lot of these trucks hiding around here
