my front bumper has 2 holes in it. they are 4x4 x 1/2 sqaure tubing 3 " long. there is a pin that goes through from top to bottom, like a tractor. to use the recess pull the pin out, put in the strap and drop the pin down. oh ya 1" cold rolled shaft. home built bumper total cost $100. solid mount to the frame so it won't twist, cheap and strong.

all of these pull through the mud like theres no tomamrrow and sometimes they do get stuck. but trust em youll eat your harsh words cause everyone gets stuck and then your buddys chevy or dodge might just have to pull you out.

Hey I picked up some forged eyes to mount to my frame they have a 7/8" threaded shank just like a ball hitch. Drill a hole in the frame tighten the nut down and youre done. Then you put your strap on a clevis and attach the clevis in to eye. The eyes cost 18 bucks.
