I have a '78 pickup with an original factory sliding rear window. Does anyone know where to buy the "fuzzy" stuff that goes in the tracks top and bottom where the center glass slides? Mine's all rotten from age.
13MWZ...I checked LMC online, but nothing.I have ordered their paper catalog,so when it arrives, I'll have a look.
1976Ranger...I will try there this weekend...Thanks
Mil1ion....Yeah,I guess I could do that, but I would like to try and keep the original window if possible. I also have a factory Ford canopy for my truck and ,being that the canopy front slider is the same as the truck one, it needs doing too.
I will be at a huge swap meets on May 1st.
One of my tasks is to find rare parts suppliers for the 73-79 for us Canadians.
Carpet, interior trim, large items that are really expensive from the states.
National Parts Depot has a real good supply of things like cat whiskers and felts for the windows at a good price. However, the shipping to Canada is not the best since it is the Flordia and North Carolina depots that handle the ford trucks parts. And only the Michigan depot ships to Canada. So you have to do a little talking with the manger to see what they can do about it. i set up an American mailbox so i wouldn't have to go through it. But its not always practical. However, the catalog is free and is very descriptive. Gives you an idea of what is out there.
