Question Heater Problems

Does anyone know where I can get new heater control cables for a 1977 F-250? My heat-to-defrost lever will hardly move and im sure it needs a new cable, I just dont know where to find one.

Roller,
If I'm not mistaken, the cable has a wrapped wire conduit around it? If so, then you probably only need to spray it with some WD-40.
Consider it,

Or it just could be the arm on the flap that's stuck. I had that on mine.

If you spray the outside of the wire wrap along it's length does it go right through to the cable?

460,
Incredibly, it soaks right through. I like to spray a little WD-40 and then a little oil and then a little more WD-40. This seems to last a little longer.
Hell of a mess though!

I know people that soak their bicycle chains in melted paraffin wax to lubricate them without oil. I wonder if that would work with a heater cable of this type?
