2000 PS TURBO

HAVE A 2000 F550 SD PS WITH 42,000 MILES, AND THERE IS OIL LEAKING OUT AROUND THE FITTINGS ON THE INTER-COOLER SYSTEM. WOULD A BAD BEARING OR SEAL IN THE TURBO PUSH OIL INTO THE SYSTEM?

Dont worry , be happy there is nothing wrong with your stroker. Oil gets sucked into the turbo intake from the P.V.C. breather on the valve cover and blown into the C.A.C. piping, and seeps out the hoses and makes a mess. This is a normal condtion. Although I wonder what the E.P.A. thinks about oil dripping on the EARTH? You can unhook the hose and let it drip on the ground. Ohhhh noooo you cant drip oil on the ground says the E.P.A. But really its not broke

Racor makes a catch tank that you can use to reroute your breather hose to so that all that blow by gas from the crankcase doesn't contaminate the turbo and intercooler system.
