I have a 2004 Expedition. It's the first vehicle I've owned with tire pressure indicators. Can anyone tell me exactly how they sense the tire pressure? Thank you.
There is a special module in each rim inside the tire that communicates through radio frequency to the control module in the vehicle. If you need your tires serviced make sure the person doing it knows the modules are there or he my damage them. You can see that you have metal valve stems. They are the end of the sensors and help support them.
I bought mine at Sam's Club for $12....has an illuminated screen and LED light. Very accurate. I bought it because I am very picky about my air pressure in my tires and I want it perfect.
You can't save it to your desktop from that site, but if you are using IE go to tools, then Internet Options... Click on Settings buttong under Temporary Internet Options, then choose View Files. From their you can find the name of the video and save it to your desktop (or rather just move it by cut/paste since it is already saved on your hard drive).
