horray for me!!!

I did it i pulled my stock down pipe out of my 96 without cutting it Sorry for opening a new thread for something so small but im happy

I looked at mine the other day and decided it was not something I was looking forward to doing. If you feel like it, would you mind posting how you did it, what I should look out for, ect? I hate exhaust work, but I also hate to pay someone else to do a worse job than I would.

well i already had a 3 inch body lift but i un bolted all 3 body mount bolts on the right side and put a jack under it and lifted it probably another 3 inches then unbolted the downpipe from both ends then slid it up while twisting

it took me a good hour but that was because i was trying to slide it down

Cool, I'm happy for you. Out of curiousity, why was not cutting the DP important? Saving it for something?

well i built my own down pipe with 3inch pipe and a welder so i didnt really want to start cutting it up because then i couldnt have an example when i started building
