79 headlight switch UPDATE
I was having problems with my headlights flickering and the dash lights not working. Someone suggested to replace the headlight switch which I did, but before I replaced it, the problem had not been present at the time. But I thought the problem was solved. Now today, I noticed the horn wasn't working and discovered that if I hold the horn down, it beeps for a short time, during the headlight flicker. If I turn the headlights/parking lights off then the horn is fine.
I am lost at trying to figure this one out. To sum it up, the horn doesn't work with any lights turned on and when the lights are turned on, they flicker/pulse.

Sounds like a wire is shorted. I'd start with the head light harnesses, where they come out of the fire wall. Look them over closely the whole way to the lights. Mine shorted where it passed around the battery box.
