What should I do?
Ok, here's my situation: I currently have 2 very crappy 10" subs behind my seat with 150w RMS to each. They dont sound to great and can't hit the low notes, so I'm wanting to upgrade. Here's my dilema, should I go with the same setup, only with new boxes and better subs, or should I go to one 12", bridge my amp and have 460w RMS running that single sub? Which would be the better option? Heck, while i'm at it what is the diffrence between the dual and single voice coils? what's the diffrence in wiring the two? Any input is appreciated.

I have about the same thing but I don't have them in yet. I have a stupid question about an amp, does it add to what the head unit is already putting out? If I have a 2 150W rms subs and put a 150w x2 rms amp on them, would that be about right or should I consider a different amp. Also does it make any difference in using the cables or just wiring them through the speaker level input.
