P0307: Cylinder 7 Misfire Detected
P0316: Engine Misfire Detected on Startup (First 1000 Revolutions)
P0325: Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Bank 1
The P1000 is probably associated with the P0325. The knock sensor is mounted in the engine valley. Check the wiring first, see if anything is frayed or unplugged or the connection is dirty. If the sensor is bad, then you'll have to remove the intake manifold to get to it. I don't remember which side it's on, but it is in the center of the block. (Not to be confused with the cylinder head temperature sensor towards the front of the valley.) The P0316 is most likely caused by the P0307. Check the connection on the coil-on-plug on cylinder 7, that's on the driver's side next to the last, nearest the firewall. Same thing as the knock sensor, check to see if the wiring is frayed (or just unplugged) or if there is dirt or moisture on the c.o.p. connector and on the spring that contacts the spark plug.(take the c.o.p out for that) If everything is clean and plugged in, take the C.O.P. out and measure the resistance across the two terminals. All 8 of my coils read 0.8 ohms. They should be between 0.6 and 1.5 ohms. If it's not within that range, it has shorted out and died, maybe due to water entering in that particular cylinder or just bad luck. These things are not particularly sturdy anyways.
