F150 TEXAN - re-read my post and note I would take fifty plus shipping charges for my bed xtender however I am seeking to find out if it will fit in a 1996 Bronco first... I miss it...LOL
E-mail privelidges are limited to members fifteen days old or more and I just started a couple days ago.
You may e-mail me at 19jimbo14@msn.com if you are serious. Make me a reasonable offer above 50 and add freight charges and I would gladly send it to you but how would I package it?
Does anyone know of a way to lock the extender in so someone can't just walk off with it? I'm more than concerned about that- so let me know.
If not, then there should be plenty available on Ebay soon!!
If you fold it in and lock the tailgate it can't be folded out and removed. That's one reason I like a tonneau cover. It keeps anything in the bed away from prying eyes.
Actually, even when folded in with a locked tailgate, it can be unhooked and lifted straight up and out rather easily. I've done it. I think I'm going to put a bicycle lock through it to one of the tie down loops. It won't stop a determined thief but it will slow down crime of convenience.
I thought it would be a waste of money when I first got it but it's turned out to be pretty handy. I have yet to use it as a bed-EXTENDER but I've used it plenty in the flipped position as an ORGANIZER to keep groceries and what not from goin all over the place.
