god bless it...I could only hope that's the price I would get. I'm pretty sure that it needs a whole new tranny, not just pieces, and it's bolted to a 4x4 in a Bronco. I don't have the time/resources/patience to do it, and I don't know if it will ever make it to a trans mechanic, definitely won't to any of the guys near me.

My "other" car is a 99 Jeep Wrangler 4X4. Wasn't much more trouble than a typical 2wd TF6
JD- you have 88 Bronco: full size? if so it could have a C4, if I'm not mistaken. Done many of those. Simple trans.

it is a full size DD, but it's a C6. '88, full size, 302 EFI 4x4. I know many people say that the C6 is the asiest to repair, but they all have to come out the same way, and then go back in the same way. Between, time, rental equipment, a new trans, and all of the little things I may mess up or miss, it's not even worth me putting a second thought into it. Especially now that it's my daily driver...maybe when I can get it off the road, and if no one buys it, I'll get to it, but time will tell.

Question NJ, What Forum?

Alright, ya lost me! What happened to Rutt's Hutt and the hotdogs? And the orange colored gravy on the fries that tastes like dishwater? "Down the river on a raft- screw the oars"- translation- fish sandwich, hold the pickles. I love that place, when do we eat? Took the family there years ago- kids loved it, wife almost liked it- a real hit!

Seriously, what's the latest? Maybe we can talk Rutt into givin' us some of his "biodiesel".

If we're going to start a NJ chapter, I'm near woodbridge, and wouldn't mine participating as a member.

Assuming you can stand bizarre stories and "FrankenFord" revving at your events

Regards,
Frederic

Say, anyone here ever been to Paragon park in Pennsylvania? Their website is http://www.paragonap.com where they have alot of info on it. I've never been there, but I've heard about it. I'm thinking of someday taking a trip out there once I'm a little more confident my truck will make the trip. It might be a cool thing to get a group of FTE'ers from NJ to head out there for some fun!

The HOAGIES at the White House are going down hill...they're not as good as they used to be. If you want a good hoagie, go to Carmens in Bellmawr (ex 3 of NJTPK) . I promise you, you'll never even think about the White House again, and you'll only use the word 'sub' to describe something underground or underwater.

You are absolutley right about hoagies and subs. Being submarine qualified I do know better, I just wanted other people to understand what I am talking about. How about a grinder?

Never really hear anyone call them grinders...I've heard it before, but it's usually up at campus from someone whose from out of town originally.

BTW-a NJ shop was voted to have the best sandwiches in the U.S. Don't remember where I read the article, but I know I heard it too. It's a Fat Darrell I think, and is a cheesesteak with mozzarella sticks, fries and chicken fingers, all on the sandwich.

From: NJ ... the garbage state
I would definatly be up for chilling in a new jersey forum, and it should definatly be pa and jersey.

good auto trans mechanic in jersey near philly ... my boss, an ex ford mechanic at holman in mt laural said he would reccomend a place if he knew what kinda work you wanted done. not sure what "adjustments" are possible on that tranny.

ahhh, the "fat" sandwhiches are all over new brunswick rutgers campus .. used to get them all the time when i was in high school and lived up there.
