Howdy Yall,

Joe I did the math but before I post it I would
like to see what Quadzilla finds out from the
axle code. The axle code is a 35.Quadzilla my truck
is a 93 so I don't know if they still used that code
in 95.But please try to find out anyway.

Thanks

#35 has a 4.10:1 ratio, but it's an open rear end, not limited slip.

Quadzilla
'95 F-350XLT Crew Cab SRW 4X4 PSD, 35X12.50X16.5's, Limited slip 4.10's, Hypermax downpipe, gutted EBPV, "Catless" in Seattle, "Renegade" 4" exhaust system, CTFD sticker, Air bags on all four corners, TYMAR intake, shimmed fpr, Diablo Delta chip, Fumoto valve, Autometer pyrometer, Sonnax valve, Tricumulator springs, Tru-Cool, HX mod, Magnefine tranny filter,
4R100 pan, Red Line synthetic in transfer case and both diffs, reverse shackle kit.
And a wish list that gets longer every day.

So what does the open rear end do?

That indicates that you've only got power to one of your rear wheels, unlike a limited slip, or "Positraction" rear end, where both wheels get power.

Howdy Yall,

When I used Joe’s equation, I came up with
a 4.08. So from that I was pretty certain that
it was a 4.10, and with Quadzilla's help I know
for sure it’s a 4.10.
Thanks for all the help guys, special thanks to
Joe and Quadzilla.

Thanks again

Quadzilla,
Definitely going rims/bigger tires in the spring, however, don't think I could talk the wife into going that big. What is the largest size you can go without a lift? 32's or 33's?

Hey how do you like the Sonnax valve and Tricumulator springs? Notice much difference? I was thinking of ordering those along with the fumoto and perhaps the Tymar intake...

Its been my experience that the tallest you can go on these trucks with no lift and without any tire rub is 33".

Thats what I thought as well, I'll have to through a pair of 32 - 33 inch tires in the equation and see how that affects the gearing. Would like to drop the rpm's at highway speeds, winding too much at 70mph.

I had 35's on mine without any lift, but the front bumper had to be shimmed out 2" for clearance. Now that I've got the reverse shackle kit on, I've removed the shims. I agree that you'd probably be able to put 33's on without lift or shim. I love the valve and springs, they made a huge difference, especially with the chip. The shifts are nice and firm.

On my 2000 there is no code in the Axle spot on the tag. It is blank. What does this mean?

The "Sterling" 10.25" rear end that's being talked about is a Ford unit, built in their "Sterling" plant, presumably Sterling, Michigan.
