After a long winters nap...
my '69 came ALIVE yesterday
We had a nice clear 60 degree day and I got time to move vehicles around, so I got ole blue out!! We made a trip down for some Sunoco 94 ($2/gal ) and then went for a road trip.
Man....did I miss that
How did Bob Seger say it....."just roll that POWER on..."
SWEET
Got a new neighbor boy behind me(probably about 10) and he came over to check out the "noise". Had to move all three vehicles around so I had the neighbors all awake. He's a gear head, so he like coming over to check out the hot rods.
Put the race car in the trailer, got the blower car put back in the garage and moved the blue truck so I could get it out now when I want to. With all three making noise yesterday, everyone knows I out for the summer now
If I had an Old Milwaukee....I could had said...."It don't get any better than this"......
Its nice to keep your neighbors in check that way..There's nothing having a few beers on a sunny day and running a big block up with the headers un-corked..
Just to find out which neighbors are still alive..LMAO!! Happy Roddin!! Russ
Well the race car is the noisiest of the bunch...it has no mufflers. Being a stick shift and it makes NO power below 3000 rpm and it's cold blooded so it took some persuading to get it moving around.
The other two have Flowmasters, but still rattle quite a bit .
Greg, my '69 is blue/white....hence "old blue". My '67 is all white. Since I have two of things, I have to be "color specific" when talking about them. The wagon is "the race car", my other '64 is either "blower car" or "winter beater" since it started out as a daily driver/winter car and went down hill from there.
FOUR FE's......what can be better???
I remember Sean posing a video of his truck doing a burnout....need to get the video cameral out and make a quick one. Bummer it's only going to be like 38 degrees today.....maybe next weekend??

It might be fun to have these videos of the engines running all posted in one place. Then if there were specs posted with them a guy who was considering a rebuild would be able to see and hear what certain combos might be like.
I agree Brian. The only thing that sucks is the amount of bandwidth required to keep something like that up. I have thought about building a really cheap box and dedicating it to being an FTP server. I have a whole slough of FE engine power cars doing things.
I am dying to see your CJ make a run for it Larry!
I've got the equipment to make a video and get into my laptop, just no way to get it posted anywhere.
I bought one of those "dazzler" gadgets that converts camcorder into digital and then I can use the program with it to do all kinds of neat things. I made a little time line video about my "racing". It started with blue truck back in '92, then the wagon and how the wagon progressed into what it is today. You can add sounds, words, whatever. It's a really neat editing program.
All that...and no way to post it. Go figure. Let alone the fact I have dial-up... .......so downloading is a all day deal

Cool Sean. I just need to pick up a DVD burner(which I've been wanting) and make a CD. I've got it in my laptop already, just need to make a copy. I've got a CD burner, but not a DVD version.
