It been raining down here in Houston for about 3 hours now and its been raining hard. Going down the main road in the suburbs of katy, there are four cop cars stuck in the deep water. THe first one went in and got stuck and the 3 others came to try and help tow/ push the other one out, coming stuck in the process. What should come to the rescue other than a big ole 350 dualie with a 10" lift. He pushes those cars out like they were nothing. I need to upload the pics of the cops being pushed out. My jeep with an 8" lift was taking on water in places so you know the water was deep. Think i ran over a civic that had ventured into the water as a submarine... not sure felt a speed bump.
we had a bad rainstorm one time when i was at my old girlfriends house. she lived at the bottom of 2 hills, after an hour the rain was so deep i was swimming in the street. a few cars got flooded out, couple cop cars, the firetruck came and pushed some to higher ground, one guy was riding an inner tube and got sucked into a storm drain and died, there was @ 20 cars up the street totalled from flooding.
its flooding from kingsland to I-10 on mason road. Mason crosses I -10 and kingsland runs parallel to I-10. Rest of katy is high and drive for a wetlands town. Its only flooding on the south side of I-10 and along some of the bayous. Hope your g/f is on the part of town still with power. We are having random rolling blackouts.
