evin...w/ the set-up you described, i wouldn't doubt that your mileage is somewhere in the neighborhood of about 7-10, depending on how much you open the secondaries on your carb...if you keep'em closed, you could very possibly get 12-15 i bet...how close am i?

p.s. there is a definite range difference in fuel mileage with the 300-6...it all depends i suppose, on your individual set-up...w/ my 300-6 blowin blue smoke and bein' run like a racer, there's no doubt that i suffer fuel economy problems, along w/ the fact that my carb is probably the original, and most likely has over-fueling problems by itself without my help of LFS (Lead Foot Syndrome)...
Yeah MontanaFord, I know what you mean. I'm going to have to do something. This mileage is awful to me. It seems that an Inline 6 would do better than this.
