Recently I have had problems with what feels like small amounts of water passing through my fuel system. The engine will jerk momentarily and then run fine. It happened today about 6 times with a period of 3 hours of driving.
Does this make sense? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
I drive a 2003 Ranger with 4L. and automatic and 4wd.
Well, the easiest thing that you could do is put a double dose of gasline antifreeze in your gass tank to remove the water.
If the problem persists, then you're into stuff like checking plug wires, pulling codes & etc, etc.
Just curious if you've recently changed your plugs. Also, does this symptom happen when you are lugging the engine slightly, or giving it power, or just at idle or what. Sounds similar to something I had happening on my 95 Ranger 4.0L
