Hi guys, I found this site the other day and just signed up.
Anyway...the specs: I'm 22 and have a 2003 F150 Lariat Supercab 5.4L 2wd. My budget doesn't have much room to play with right now, so I just purchased an exhaust tip, 8in long 3.5in wide and it should arrive on Tuesday. Has anyone else done this with the stock muffler/pips and if so where they pleased with any (if at all) sound difference?
I can't afford an entire cat back system, but if I'm not pleased with the tip will, say an original Flowmaster 40 and the stock pips do the trick?
such a small tip probably won't makemuch a difference. if your wanting sound your gonna need a new muffler at least. flowmaster 40 series sounds good. its what i use on my truck.
