a couple of things that i have seen go wrong with the 6.0 are the pcm has to be updated to a new version, just a 20min job to download new program or a comin thing thats been happening up here is the cat coverter is pluggin up and cause the truck to die or even not start.

also i know the ebp sensor was a huge problem when they first came out and there is a change up number that was also fixin those problems

The proper way to up-load (re-flash) is of importance also.
This seems to be a place of problesms, IMO some re-falshes could have worked if installed correctly.

My truck is doing the same thing and my dealer is bumfuzzled. I try to tel them about this and they told me that they couldnt do anything to my truck unless it was throwing out a code. That is RIDICULOUS! hat am i supposed to do drive a broke truck because they are too lazy to try to fix it!!!!!!!! IM EXTRREMELY mad ABOUT THIS IT IS RIDICULOUS!

we could all be master techs if we just had the scan toolz!!!!

lmao!


remember when a mechanic had to actually diagnose, as well as change parts!

There have been many 6.0L updates to the ICP sensor ,the FICM, the TCM, and the PCM. Anyone with problems of this type should take their truck to a dealer with the most current downloads installed on the WDS, (The unit for reprogramming used at the dealer) and have their vehicle updated.
