Valve Train upgrade?

Building a 351c 4V for Highway performance 80MPH+. 70 Merc Cougar Eliminator... Using Flat top pistons, Ported & Polished DOAE Quench 4V heads w 650 springs, Manly severe duty valves, hardened seats and recomended racing guides. Weiand matched Xcelorator intake, Edelbrock 800CFM, Clevite 77 536int/562Exh lift 280/290 ADV dur cam. Now I run into the valve train. I have a set of 7/16 studs and guideplates and hadened pushrods but the studs don't just screw in. I can machine the heads to accept the studs, Buy a stud conversion kit for less or change the plan and use the pedestal mounted Scopion rollers. What will be my best option? Also anyone with links to purchase the materials to do the external oil line would help. Alread deburred polished and chamferred the block and crank. This set up will only be turning 1.8-5.8K RPM with this cam but I may upgrade that later along with the gears and a 5 speed swap... Figure it will be a dog in town 2K stall on 3.0 gears but it only sees 2 miles until the interstate...

I would have the heads converted to studs. I know that Crane makes a nice conversion kit, but seeing as you already have the studs & guide plates I'd have it done. The crane kit uses the stock 5/16 bolt hole which limits the amount of spring pressure you can run.
