Thumbs up Wiper Blade Reccomendation

If you're like me and can't stand the sight of a dirty windshield, these are for you. I recently purchased a pair of PIAA wiper blades off of tirerack.com. The blades are silicone coated and have little wings to keep them glued to the windshield at high speeds. If they start to skip or chatter, the manual reccomends that you turn the wipers on when the windshield is dry for approx 5 minutes and this will lay down a nice silicone coating on your windshield. They preformed miraculously in recent weeks in MA when we got like 7" of rain in like 2 days. I thought I was in WA for a little while there. These are far better than Anco's, 3M's or Bosch's blades who's performance deteriorate shortly after you put them on your truck. They aren't cheap, but well worth the investment IMHO. At any rate, just thought I'd pass that on.

Just one more thing of note regarding tirerack.com. If you decide to buy wiper blades there, double check the correct wiper blade size as the ones I ordered were actually a size or two too small. Minor PITA. Enjoy!

I've found that the RainX blades from Wal-Mart work great.

I've tried three different brands with the same poor results. I'm really disappointed in the Bosch triple edge blades I'm using now.

I've heard good things about the PIAA's and I like the price of the Rain X. I guess a trip to wallyworld is in my future.

FYI, one can go up to a 24" blade on the driver side....stock is 20".
