3 wire starter?

hooking up a starter in a 91 ranger with a 4 cylinder. Where do the three wires go? I didn't take it out, and now trying to put it in i can't figure out the hook up. Thanks guys.

Are you talking about the wires at the starter or the solenoid?

The starter ground through the block.
There are two wires that go too the big terminal on the solinoid, then one small wire that goes to the plug or stud. BTW there are 2 solinoids.
