Difference between 98,99 suspention

I see that RCD makes a lift for 99 to 02 but what the difference between my 98 and a 99 model?

pretty sure its the same...some lift companies just leave off a year when they specify models...id check around for sure though, could be something small that no one knows about.

Same suspension, as far as I know, for the '98 and '99. There was a somewhat major re-design of the Ranger in '98, including the suspension, so I would not think that '99 would be any different.

But I agree, check up on it, maybe you can email RCD and ask them why they think there is a difference.

Yeah, that's odd. 98-00 was identical, and in 01 Ford revised the geometry in the front end. But you say they list 99-02 as being the same....that's odd.

I thought the same thing and we where right. The lift gets rid of the sorry torsion bars!! It is 2200 bucks and there is some welding to do but hey with a set of 35s and a my newly installed lock right locker and center force clutch it would be one bad Ranger.

Yeah, I wish I didn't have these stupid torsion bars too. Oh well. Good luck with the lift. Post some pics when it's done!
