Window crank removal

How do you remove the window crank on a 1970 F250? I'm trying to get the door panel off.

It takes a special tool.

The Clip in a slot 90* to the crank shaft is horseshoe shaped & it needs to be sprung out.

I have that tool... you're just too far away.

Special Tool ??
On a FORD Truck!
Was the 70 model different from the rest ?
I have owned the 68,69 and currently the 71 model and all window cranks were removed by removing the screw from the center of the handle and simply pulling it off!
Although, I did have a 70 chevy that had horseshoe clips that required the tool that you mentioned.

I got a '70 F250 and I use a screw driver to take my window crank **** thing off. Nut driver works good to get the screws in the arm rest off.

There's no screw. The center is solid.

I've bent a coat hangar before and used that. You just need to find the loop end and give it a tug.

I have used a coarse tooth Hacksaw Blade until I bought the proper tool.

My favorite 'tool' for those goofy clips is a pop rivet with the end bent over held with a pair of visegrips. Works great.

It seams you have a clean old ford there thats never had the window crancks removed sounds like it still has the aluminum cover over the screw hole it's stuck on with some type of adhesive only thing bad it's a one time cover once you pry it off it's going to distort it i think dennis carpenter sells these covers.
