Finally got the Airaid cold air intake. Paid $300 from Airaid sales on the net. Installation was easy and took about 1.5 hours. Posted some pics in my gallery.
I was hoping to get the weld wheels today, but they will hopefully be here Monday. Will post pics when I get them.
Didn't have a chance to drive last night. Drove the truck today. If there is a HP difference it is small, claimed is only around 10HP, difficult to notice. However the noise is awsome. Once the throttle is opened up and the RPM gets to 3000, the truck almost vibrates with the intake noise, absolutely love it. As for fuel economy, won't get much better with trying to make the cool noise at wide open, oh well.
What type of weld wheels are you going to be getting??? I really like the WeldEVO wheels but they are a pretty penny for a set...$450 a wheel for 17's..
Man that's one long looking truck. I wish I could have an 8 ft. bed that looked like a 6.5 ft. one. It's nice to be able to get 4x8 sheets flat in the bed and still close the tailgate.
Cool intake. I had an Airaid on my old SOHC 4.0 Ranger. It was loud too. Glad you like it.
