ABS Light

Just thought I would inform PSD Owners.
The ABS light stays on, checked the fluid level alls ok.
the problem is the speeed sensor in the rear end housing.
Dealer wanted 75.00 for diag and 150.00 for replacement with labor.
I bought the sensor from ford for 17.00 and It took me 15 mins to replace.
Dealers just want to rape you!!

99 F350 4x4 crew cab 7.3psd, auto 3:73 limitd slip mild lift w/35 rs9000 all aroud.

ABS Light

Thats very true. Good deal that u were able to fix it that easily. That would have been my guess if my ABS light comes on. I try to stay away from the Dealers as much as possible unless it is warranty work.

ABS Light

I had an intermittant ABS light in my 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe and every time I took it to the dealer it would go out, making me look like an idiot. So I found all the chassis grounds, took them loose and sanded through the paint and E-coating to bare metal, and I never had another problem with it.
