I have just bought a 01 E350SD and want to put larger tires on it (265/75). The tech article on the right only covers digital odo's and after crawling under the beast, I cannot figure out if I need to re-gear or reprogram. If I need to reprogram, do I need a special tool? It has a "rolling" odo not one of the digital ones.
Any help would be much appreciated!

When I put on 35s on my 2001 F350 PSD i used the Superlift Truspeed module to correct my speedo, works for me.

DCSpecial, I was wondering how that superlift truspeed worked. How do you adjust it to your speedometer? I was thinking of getting one but I don't know alot about it. Any info would be great. Thanks, Firemandan

If the truck has a Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) as opposed to a cable actuated speedo drive (as I am sure is the case with your truck), you should be able to modify the ECM program to compensate for gear ratio changes, tire sizes, etc. Off roading shops, diesel specialty shops or maybe even the Ford dealer (if they have a tech who knows the diesel thououghly) may be able to do this for you.
