headers and chips
I want to install new headers and complete dual exhaust on my totally stock '95 F150 302. With this change, what improvements would I expect as far as HP and Torgue increments. Also where would I find a chip for this truck and how much would it roughly be.

On a stock 302 you can expect a 15 to 25 hp and gain 1 to 2 mpg from headers and a full exhaust system. I bought my Diablo chip from motorhaven.com, they are one of the website's sponsors. I've done these mods as well as others to my 95 model with a 302 and they helped out alot.

did some of the same mods, I use the micro tuner. Either one gives great performance, average of 10% in hp and 15% in torque. Try to stay with 2 1/2" pipe on the exhaust system, you'll some low end torque IMO with the 3".

chips are a waste of money unless you have and engine with more then just headers. to make a chip worth it you should change the headers/exhaust, cam, intake, heads, throttle body then get a chip tell the manufacturer what you have on the motor and the chip will be tailored to those specs. Then you will get what you payed for .
