Cummins convert.....maybe

Well guys, my blood is true blue, but my boss's is soiled with dodge blood. I think I've finally convinced him to let me get a new 6.0PSD. After reading numerous posts, about the current issues with the new 6.0, is there a certain month, or quarter that the truck was builit in that I should avoid? I know Ford makes a solid product, but I would hate for engine problems to plague me with the boss's good history of the Cummins to compare against.

Are you looking for new or used? If new I would look for any 04 with and 04 engine just to play it safe. I have an 04 with and 03 engine with no problems though (knocking on wood).
