Front spring hits shock

Hey all,
95 bronco, I was looking at my pass front spring and shock and there are 2 dents in my shock from the spring. They are very close togeather. The driver side has a good distance between the spring and shock. Is this normal??

I would venture to say that your radius arm bushings are shot and they allowed that side of the TTB suspension to move under certain conditions. I had an alignment problem with my 86 because of this scenario.
