I own a 94.5 psd it will not start unless you plug it in and let it warm up then it fires right up.When you try to start it normaly when yo turn the key to on the wait to start light comes on then you here a click in the engine compartment, like the sound of a relay switch or something, the wait to start light does not stay on for much more than 20-30secs.
What could be the problem
Could it be the glo plugs,or some other problem not so obvious.
The relay is what you're hearing. It may be making the noise but letting tha amperage go through. If you have an ampmeter, check amperage on the side of the relay going to the plugs, should start out around 200 amps then taper down to around 90 after 120 seconds.
