Hope some one can help me with this, I have a 2000 ford explorer and the power window will quit working at any time and after it set for a short period they will work again, I have checked and rechecked the fuses to no avail.
2nd, i take it your warranty is expired? If so, it's more than likely gonna be the master control switch which is on the drivers door. have you ever left the door open during a rain storm and water has fell on the switch?
Hopes this helps....
I’m sure from time to time it was exposed to a little rain but I always tried to dry it off and it is out of warranty of course! these type of things never happen when some one else has to pay for it I will pull out the switch and check it as this is about the only thing that makes any sense at this point.
Thanks for getting back to me and have a nice weekend
