help please- horn not working

Hey,

I just got my truck about a month ago my horn doesnt work either, I push the horn in and i hear a ticking coming from somthing near the fuse box but none of my fuses are bad.... if anyone could give me a pointer that would be great i dont kno anything about them yet....

Sounds like you horn relay has gone bad bushwacker... Check the fuse panel for a good sized square or round block that plugs in there

Hmm

I have a relay 1 and a relay 2 switch, and then also i have a few more square lookin jiggers in there lol...

you oughta try takin' them out one at a time and see which one gets rid of the clickin' when you honk...

More Horn/Cruise Control Responses

I just repaired my '95 Windstar that had the same problem, no horn or cruise control. It turned out that my cruise control servo module connector was defective. Two pins in the connector were burnt. It turns out that the horn circuit is grounded through these pins too. I replaced the cruise control servo module and it fixed both problems. The Haynes manual I have showed me how to take ohmmeter readings through the cruise control connector to determine if the cruise control switches and clocksprings in my steering column were OK without taking my steering column apart. Hope this helps someone.
