Shocks/Stabilizer
I just put new shocks on all four corners, while under the rear end I noticed a small shock, which I am assuming prevents rear end sway. This "shock" comes off of the pumpkin and goes fwd and to the passenger side. It looks real rough. Does anyone know a ford part number, or an after market product that would fit?

That's a damper and I believe it's purpose is to prevent rear axle windup when you hit the gas, or something like that. Maybe just disconnect one end of it and make sure it still has resistance to push and pull and fugetaboutit.

For sure the bolt on the pumpkin will be worn because the cast bracket won't compress on the rubber bushing. At the least, switch the bolts. The top bracket will compress and will work OK with worn bolt.
