That is one of the things that truely goes over my head.Post counts,I mean unless there is is secret like Ford is giving away a new truck to the guy who gets to a million post first, why would anybody want to inflate their post count? And as a mechanic,I do cruise the help forums alot, most of the time, all I need to do is read them, cause all of the great people here have already sent in replies curing the problem.

*sarcasm on*Well, as one of the old timer types here, I feel it is my duty to say a few things*sarcasm off* lol
But seriously, post counts and the time you have been here all help determine wether you are a newbie or not. I wouldn't consider you one, come on, you have 415 posts, and have prooved yourself to be a good guy. I usually don't take it seriuously when someone who has been here a month and has 15 posts jumps all over me (its only happened once), so don't worry about it. Maybe the guy was just having a bad day.

I couldn't agree with you more!! All of us get out of hand at times, but we all have good days and bad days. All that matters is that we all help someone with a problem on this forum at the end of the day. This all what make FTE a great place.

I missed what you saw on this forum that offended you and your childern, but I hope it does not stop you from bringing your children to this forum because, the people that make this site possible try hard to prevent this but as they said they can't be every where at once.

I hope that people like you, and others stay around to solve problems and ask questions. That is what this forum is all about. IHMO

What I can add to this is I don't think you can be too bad of a person if you are looking at "fixing" something. Like I've always told my supervisors..." I can't fix it if I don't know it's broke" I usually do this so they don't feel intimidated or what ever and wait till an eval to say something. You've just done the same thing by asking to have "problems" fixed. Do I think they're problems?? NO! Of course I don't post a lot and I haven't been to the site much since I started back to work. I will tell you that I've never done the "forum" thing but the GREAT people here at FTE helped me through a VERY hard time. They are some of the best people "I KNOW". Some of us don't have close friends to talk to, or we are home bound by illness or???...thus the FTE forum as a way to reach out. To be able to reach out and "hear a friendly voice" at anytime of the day is one great thing in life. My 1/2 cents worth is to base your feelings on the good and put the bad behind. I'll shut up now.

KT,

I know which post you are speaking of & I want to apoligize to you if my reply to it offended you in any way. It was not my intentions for you to be offended.

Hey bro,it was because of you guys at FTE that I started this thread,I was worried that I was creating an image of "Hey,look at the new guy, only been here a month, and now he`s welcoming everybody like he owns the place"I think I will wait another month or two, before I jump on the welcome wagon again.Seems that after the dog nightmare I went thru, the only friends I have left are right here.So until they boot me off for too many bad jokes,I`ll be here if you need me for anything.
