57 through 65 cars and 66 trucks, including mustang falcon fairlane etc etc etc....
to remove, pull handle all the way out til it stops. Reach up behind dash & depress spring loaded button on top of switch itself, pull handle the rest of the way out. Next using a spanner, or a dime in a pair of pliers, back out the bezel nut, remove the bezel & remove the switch from the back & under the dash. There may be a spacer involved which will drop when you move the switch back to remove it from the dash.
