Not sure what you're trying to accomplish with 2 cases. Are you looking for a lower gear ratio than the 1:1.96 that the 205 comes with? If so you'll want to use the gear drive from a 203. You need an adapter plate, shaft, various parts. Kits are available from $500-$1000 depending on where you get them and how elaborate you want to be.
Try a search in the offroad forum, I know this has been discussed over there. If it's a 205-203 combo you want search for "doubler kit". Also a lot of detailed info at www.pirate4x4.com on these.
GIDDAY sounds like A plan I put 2 gear boxes one behind the other in A buggy 25 years ago it gave me super granny ideal for rock climbing
2 transfer cases will be lower to the max.

It accomplishes the granny low without adding the weight and bulk of another 205. The gear portion on the 203 allows you a regular or low range which can then be split again by your 205 for another low range, getting in the neighborhood of 4:1 instead of 1.96:1. You have a second control lever for the 203. If you really like levers (and who doesn't) you can then twin stick your 205 and have 3 to play with.
I have a 4spd in my truck already.. i want a 4spd w/ granny low and dual cases, and i have an extra NP205 sittin in my garage i wanna use.. so can i couple 2 NP205's?
Advance adapters should make a kit to do this. www.advanceadapters.com I think thats their website. I saw online some where a rockcrawler with triple 205's do it could be done.
Your easiest way to do this, expense wise, is if you have one case married to the tranny and the other divorced. Then run a driveshaft off the rear output from the married case to the second, divorced case. Otherwise you're going to be looking at a huge expense to have adapters made to run a pair of 205s.
If the goal is a 1:4 ratio why not sell those 205's and buy an atlas? They have one for your truck and only minor fabrication to the mounts unlike the custom setup to make those 205's work. Just my $.02
I like the look and everything of Dual Cases.. Im putting some 5pt harness seats in and another case would be nice for the middle.. plus, i already have 2 205's, so im looking for options.
Atlas cases are awesome but will run you $1800 on up. If you go with 2-205's you will have to fab your own crossmembers and brackets to make it work. The case is very heavy as you know so the supports have to be strong to keep everything in place.
Are the cases married or divorced? Is one already in the truck? And what vehicle are these going into?
If your spare case is "married" also then you're going to have a tough time with this. You'll want to get a divorced case if you're going to run 2 of them. Take some measurements though, what you have to watch is if you stack 2-205s in this manner you'll be pushing them back so far that your rear driveshaft may be at a pretty extreme angle. I think you'd be better off going to a 203/205 combo.

Thank you for your reply. I am deciding to go with the 203/205 combo as i can also get a free rebuilt 203.
<!I just need to get rid of this 205, so im trying to sell it on pirate 4x4.> THanks!
