intake kits

I would like some info on new intake systems for my '99. Have a K&N in stock location. Would like to make working cowl induction hood setup, but the hoods are expensive. Doesn't show any restriction on the factory gauge but after my tuner (80hp) with stock air filter it did. any info would be appreciated.

You'll get less restriction from a TYMAR. It isn't part of a cowl induction setup, but it's the least restrictive intake you can get.

And a wish list that gets longer every day.

I second the Tymar. It's the best setup available for our trucks and outperforms the K&N hands down.

Ballpark figures: the TYMAR is about half the cost of a K&N. Slightly over $100, plus freight.
