Wink Swifer WetJet

I own one & love it. Make cleaning the floor so much easier. How many other people have one & love it or hate it?
You don't need to be female to respond because I am not one of those.

One thing I noticed today though. You know those little white replaceable pad on the bottom. Next time you change that pad look at the new one closely before you put it on.
I did today & I saw a monter maxipad. It looks just like one but larger.

I had to break down & buy one.
It was that or end up having to do the floors myself

Yeah, I have one. It's about all I can use on my floors. Spent a @#$@! fortune on wood-laminate floors for the whole house. Big mistake. They look great, but the upkeep is ridiculous. Not to mention you have to be VERY quick with any spills/moisture or the floor swells.

Anyway, as for the replacement pads, the muy grande sized box of maxi's are probably alot cheaper!

I've got one, but it just doesn't get down in the little grooves and depressions in the pattern of my vinyl floor very well. Doesn't help that every time it rains my back yard turns into a swamp and the dog tracks mud all over the place.

If used on glossy tile does it leave a film.

It leaves a film on the wood laminate. I started using pledge dusting spray instead of the wetjet cleaner. It works great and is a real riot watching the kids run thru the house in their socks and not be able to stop on the super slick floors.

A friend told me she bought a scrubber/mop/vacuum thing - cant remember what its called- at walmart and said that it is awesome for tile. Says it even cleans the grout like nobody's business. I wish I could remember what it is, I do know that the scrubber part is like 3 brush heads that rotate.

The scrubber/mop/vacuum thingy is a Hoover FloorMate. My wife got one a couple of months ago. Works very well on the patterned vinyl floor in the kitchen and on the ceramic floor tile elsewhere in the house.

FWIW, I had bought the Pledge version of the wetjet and it broke in two the first time I used it.

Is this really a bunch of MEN talking about floor mops? Boy, the times sure are changin'. lol. Actually, I have a Wet Jet, but that Hoover deal sounds more like what I need. You say those are at Wal-Mart?
