is a spray in bed liner worth the money? for my 76 250 long bed they want 400 and up. it looks great on trucks tho. but i was thinking what happens if i want to paint it again which i will how does that work? paint just up to the side of the liner? any imput would be much appriciated
I had a Rhino Liner done on my truck in abount 1992. It cost $450.00 back then. I did have to have it repaired once and stripped out and redone once after that (under the lifetime warranty, and after a year of hassles). The problem with it was poor prep, not and liner itself.
If you are going to do it make sure paint in bed is stable and the it is prep properly. You can't prep it properly after it is on so take the time to do it right.
As far as a future repaint I wouldn"t think it would be a problenm to paint up to it. Maybe just spray the liner under rails and it would be easier. If I had to do it again I would prep bed untill it was perfect and only go under the rails. Spray liner is good way to go just needs to be done right.
