heater doesn't work very good
my heater in my 79 f150 4x4 400 doesn't blow out of the vents when i want it too, it only blows out the defrost holes, and that's not even that hot, this truck has a/c but it hasn't worked since i've had it, what does this sound like to you guys? i think i may have hurt it when i had the radio out i had to cram it pretty hard against the control for the heater a/c how expensive is it to work on these old heater systems?

My first guess would be that you pulled some vaccum lines by accident when you were installing the radio. Vaccum controls the flow of air so you'll probably want to pull the radio again and check to see if all of your lines are hooked up right.
These old systems are really pretty simple and not expensive to fix. You just have to troubleshoot the problem.
