I orderd my 2004 4X4 Screw
Should get it by mid May. I hope Ford Motor Co. Knows all about the Vibration
problems by now. I told my dealer about the problem and of course they never heard about it.
The XLT I ordered was built last week and should be arriving soon, I'm nervous as hell about the vibration problem. I really like the dealership I ordered from but I'm going to request a 20 mile test drive before I sign on the line. I'll feel a little like a heel but I'm not going to take delievery of a truck that has any sort of vibration problem. I'm curious if Ford is producing less trucks with the vibration problems than they were six months ago.
I told my dealer about the problem and of course they never heard about it
I find that hard to believe, to the point where I would consider finding another (and maybe more forthright and knowledgeable) dealer. The salesperson at my dealership admitted knowledge of the problem, and went on to relate that the owner had the shop install the 25lb 'fix' on his personal PU.
My newly purchased PU has a slight nibble at exactly 70mph which I (we) are working to correct. As most things in life, anything is fixable given enough time and money.
