Center cap bolts

I have a set of ARE (American Racing Enterprises) alloy wheels (15" X 10") for my F-150. I got them off e-bay & later picked up the center caps there also. My problem is, I need retainer screws (holds the caps on the wheels). The center caps are 7" dia. and have a hole for a single retaining bolt about an inch from one edge. At first I thought the bolt hole looked like a 5/16" N.F. so figured there woukd be no problem finding or making something to substitute. Now I find out the 5/16 N.F. won't go in. It tries to start, but won't go. It's got to be either Left Hand thread or else metric or something off-beat. Does anyone out there know anything about these bolts. They would have a tapered shoulder like a flat head screw and be between 1 5/8" & 2 1/4" under the shoulder. Very much appreciate any help!

Well, I Found Out That They Are M8x1.25 (x45 Or 50 Long). For Those Metrically Challenged (i Am One!), That's 8 Mm Diameter With 1.25 Threads Per Mm Also The Wheels Might Have Been Manufactured By Anyone! I've Recently Seen Center Caps Of This Style On E-bay With Inserts With A Dozen Different Brand Names & Diameters Ranging From 6" To 7.25" . Maybe This Will Help Someone Else.
