running rich!!!
I have a 1981 full size bronco that I recently restored. it has a 302 ho motor, that is .060 over, headers, comp cam, edelbrock manifold and an edelbrock 600 carb. problem is, the darn things runs rich, even after putting different jets in the carb. is it the edelbrock card? should I go holley? I just cant figure it out, and emissions are due next month so gotta get it in gear. please help!!!!!

Are you using the 1406 carb? If you changed jets, you went with smaller jets, right? How old is the carb? Have you verified the float levels/drops? If you have to, it's a pretty simple carb to rebuild.

yes, I have put smaller jets in it, also, I have checked the float bowls and adjusted them. but it still runs rich. I dont know how old the carb is. or if it was rebuilt before I acquired the vehicle. I am guessing it to be around 5 years old, maybe.
