Guages dont work need help
Ok I have a camper special which has the deluxe guage package in it. The dummy lights work (Oil and Alternator) but the Ammeter guage, Oil pressure guage that reads in PSI, and Temperature Guage which are all analog do not work. I have check my fuse box to see if Im getting voltage in and through the fuses, all terminals of the fuse box are getting voltage except the one that says Instrument panel. This would explain why the guages are dead, now where do I start from here. I've pulled the fuse box and check the back side of all terminals and again nothing on the one labeled instrument panel.
I just don't know where to start. I used to have a 1965 comet that the guages did the same thing on and it kept burning a diode out that was behind the instrument panel. Once the diode was replace the guages would work again for a short while. I just don't know where to start I want to get the factory guages working again properly,
