bad clutch???
i dont knw too much about manual trannys so any help would be cool.i bought a 86 ford 150 inline 6 which had a low clutch response, but the guy told me it was new. i've noticed that finding gears has been triccky and getting hard to shift. the other night the shifting was ridiculiously hard and now the clutch is alwasy engaged when starting it. i call shift throught the gears when not running, but cant shift when it starts. i put in a new slave cylinder with little change. s the clutch bad? what should i do next.

The problem is the clutch is not releasing fully. If you replaced the clutch slave then I would suspect the master cylinder is bad. Replace the master and bleed the system.
